Dear Yankee Candle, Buh Bye.

A week or so ago I announced to FacebookLand that I was going to begin yet another project/obsession:
Candle Making!
At $25 a pop,  I was seriously spending close to $100 a month on candles.  As much as I LOVE candles, that was just plain silly.  I did a little research on the web and found this excellent tutorial on soy candle making.

I then shopped around on Etsy and Ebay and purchased the needed supplies.
The soy wax chips finally arrived day before yesterday
and
Ta da!!!

Mmmmmmmmmm.
Yummy!
Carmel latte, Dark chocolate fudge, Cinnamon latte, y  Dulce de Leche.
This was so incredibly easy to do and I'm going to save tons of money from now on.
I'm  waiting for a few other fragrance oils to arrive, so I can whip up a  more candles.
Banana cream pie and Irish cream coffee, you can't get here soon enough.
I'm now ready to learn how to make decorative soap!

Love how you repurposed items you had for your candles. Clever!
