even black.

These handmade delights are ready for painting and will be used in future StinkyMonkey4eva.biz projects.  Yaaaaaay!  I am super excited to dive in and pretty them up. I've finished Haunted Hair Candy's apron and tomorrow I will snap a few pictures and share them with you all soon.  Knowing that I dig vampires, these adorable hair clippies where also shipped to me. Super Cute!

Wally-World Haul

I LOVE Walmart like nobody's business.

Where else, other than my beloved Walmart, can I purchase the week's groceries, my families toiletries, everything I need for our home, craft supplies, and have my oil changed?

My Walmart of choice has an adjacent Michaels which make my bimonthly Walmart ventures all the more pleasurable. My Dear Walmart, I love that I can have an eye examination and lens fitting, mac on a Filet O Fish, and grab ink for the printer while my new tires are being aligned. Target smarget, I say.  They are ridiculously overpriced and I've never been a fan of khaki colored pants. Target blows. 

Here's some of what I picked up earlier today.  

This lot has major craft potential.  I'm super excited about the oven bake clay and the lip fabric is too cute.  I also scored black polka dotted tulle at only $1 a yard.  I stockpiled the entire bolt. 

I shared today's Walmart adventure with my baby girl.  We had the most fun.  

Ronald was pretty stoked as well.

Welcome 2013

2012 was a pretty decent year, unlike 2011 which will forever be seared into my recollection as "The Year of the KOOKS".  2012 unfolded without incident.  StinkyMonkey4eva.biz had a good run in 2012 as business grew and name recognition increased.  It's been three years to the day since we uprooted and relocated from HB, OC to the Armpit of California and I've yet to adapt to this, for lack of a better word, pit.
Okay, okay.  I suppose with it being a new year and all I should at least make an effort to be a bit more optimistic.  Take two. I enjoy the cold weather, during the winter months, here in the Armpit of California. Living 200 yards from the Pacific Ocean, we rarely, if ever, busted out our parkas. Admittedly, I do delight in layered clothing, scarves, and mittens.  Whatever.
I am, however, enthusiastic and hopeful for what 2013 will bring.

Let's Get Physical

My new BFF arrived yesterday via Fed Ex and was assembled late last night. I'm fixin' to finish up my Earl Grey and give her a spin. Before I became a full time craftwife, my 4:30 am mornings began with a 60 minute cardio workout in Santa Ana, on my way to the office. Things sure have changed for me since leaving the OC. The smell of the Pacific, & a salty marine layer have been replaced by an interesting banquet of roses & jasmine, with just a hint of dog crap. The melody of seagulls and waves has been rendered to doves cooing in unison with sirens blaring.  Did I mention that I miss home?   I also miss those pre dawn workouts and the heavenly endorphins a good workout delivers, but the thought of getting into the car, driving, parking, and finding my way to a gym, if not en route to work, is not appealing. Well, the gym has now come to me. No more chunky monkey!!!! Happy Wednesday, all.
